Creamy No Fruit Power Smoothie

If you are craving a creamy delicious shake without all the added sugars and other processed ingredients in ice cream, here’s a treat for you! This dairy free milk shake not only tastes amazing, it will also make your body smile on the inside. 

The avocado and egg yolk are what make this smoothie creamy and thick, while also giving it most of it’s nutrient dense properties. So don’t be afraid to use these healthy fats in your smoothie.

As an added bonus, if you are looking to boost your libido, this smoothie will fire up those parts of you that have been a little rusty or unresponsive. Maca is known for it’s natural ability to boost sexual desire in both men and women. Another amazing benefit of this superfood is that maca may help reduce unpleasant symptoms of menopause like hot flashes.

If this smoothie is more of an investment than what you are used to, it’s for a good reason! It’s all about nourishing you from the inside out, at the cellular level, where we need it most.

Protein Power Smoothie

1 teaspoon maca root
1 tablespoon raw unsweetened cacao
2 tablespoons Body Bio Balance Oil or Flax Oil
2 organic pasture raised raw egg yolks (optional)
1 scoop protein powder
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 avocado
1 cup coconut, almond, cashew or other milk (I use full fat coconut milk)
1 -2 teaspoons raw honey or 5-8 drops of liquid stevia
Ice 

Place all ingredients in a high speed blender and blend until creamy and smooth, adding more milk as needed.
