1 pound ground turkey meat
1/4 cup almond flour
3 tablespoons flax meal
3 tablespoons sesame seeds
1 medium onion, peeled and chopped
2 garlic cloves, minced
1/2 teaspoon oregano
4 tablespoons coconut oil or olive oil
Mix turkey with almond four, flax meal, and sesame seeds. Set aside.
Heat 2 tablespoons of coconut oil in a large skillet and let melt completely. Add the chopped onion and saute for 5 minutes or until tender and translucent. Add garlic and spices cooking for 2 more minutes. Let cool slightly then mix it into the turkey mixture stirring well. If it is dry, add 2 tablespoons of melted coconut oil or olive oil. Roll into meatballs.
Using the same pan, heat 2 tablespoons of oil over medium high heat. Add meatballs and cook until done, about 8 -10 minutes. Or can bake meatballs in the oven at 400 degrees for 20 to 30 minutes until no longer pink inside.
