1 cup walnuts, whole or pieces
4 cups fresh filtered water
Place walnuts and water in a glass or ceramic bowl, making sure walnuts are completely covered by water. Let sit at room temperature for 4-8 hours. Drain and rinse well. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator or freezer. You won’t believe the taste difference with walnuts over raw walnuts, the bitterness goes away and they have more density. Yum!
