1 cup water
1 cup unflavored almond milk
1 cup quinoa, rinsed using a fine sieve
2 tablespoons agave or honey
½ teaspoon cinnamon
In a sauce pan over medium heat, bring milk and water to a boil. Add quinoa and return to a boil, then turn heat to low. Simmer over low heat, covered, until all the liquid as been absorbed about 15 minutes. Stir in cinnamon and agave or honey. Top with some fresh blueberries, raspberries or banana and toasted walnuts.
