1 cup plain steel cut oats
3 cups of water
Bring water to a boil in a saucepan over high heat. Once boiling, stir in the oats. Reduce heat and simmer over medium low heat for about 25 minutes,
With each individual serving, add 2 teaspoons coconut oil, 1 tablespoon chopped walnuts and 1 tablespoon ground flax seeds. Drizzle some honey or maple syrup on top and add unsweetened almond milk if like it creamy. Sprinkle cinnamon on top for added flavor, yum! It will keep in the refrigerator for up to a week. Reheat in microwave or on the stove with a little added water or milk.
